How Therapists Have Been Coping With The COVID-19 Pandemic

Human first. Therapist is the role that we occupy. How we manage stress and cope during a pandemic varies with the person and moment. The picture is one that I took a few years ago while traveling with friends. Traveling is one of my self-care strategies that hasn’t been accessible during the pandemic. That stinks and it really is okay to acknowledge the things, no matter how frivolous you may think they are, that you miss. It’s also okay to not always be okay. It’s a process and it’s important to be aware of and acknowledge where you are at in the moment. I was grateful to be able to share a few of my coping strategies. You can read the full article here.
